We are at an exciting stage in our growth and need someone who is just as excited - someone who can help scale our affiliate program to new heights; forging strong partnerships and delighting customers with great deals along the way.
As our Demand Partnerships Team Lead you’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from scouting out potential partners and defining what affiliate solutions would work best for them, to closing the deals and working closely with Customer Success to make each partnership a success.
Reporting into our Head of Partnerships (who you’ll work closely together with), you and the wider team you will be leading and growing will work to scale up this new area of our business and to bring great deals to customers across the globe.
What you will do:
- Deeply understand our affiliate offering and positioning in order to think creatively when it comes to working with other travel companies;
- Actively scout and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects from large travel companies across the industry;
- Pitch our suite of affiliate solutions to a variety of relevant prospects across the travel industry (including C level/founders at large travel companies);
- Close $XM deals with the largest travel players and set these partnerships up for success (by working closely with Customer Success to ensure we maximize the potential);
- Build out the wider sales organization, through developing relevant processes and hiring the people to help us achieve our targets;
- Lead and work closely together with our existing Customer Success team, to build our proper processes and set them up for success.
Who you are:
- You have at least 8-10 years proven experience in sales within a travel environment - you know the industry well and can easily pinpoint opportunities;
- You have experience building and leading teams;
- Large, multi-million Euro targets/quotas don’t scare you - you’ve crushed them in the past, and you look forward to doing so again!
- You are a “strategizer” who thoroughly enjoys the hunt - this role is about constantly pivoting on how to close the deal, and being as creative as possible until it’s done;
- You’ve heard “no” many times in your career, and realize that it’s just a stepping stone to receiving a “yes”;
- (Semi) technical discussions don’t scare you - you’re comfortable talking about the (basic) functionality of our APIs, White Labels, Reporting, etc.;
- You have experience building out a dedicated sales process to help you (and the wider sales team) succeed;
- You realize that sales goes further than just closing the deal - you’re comfortable leading & working together with our Customer Success teams to scale the partnership in order to achieve our targets.
