Demand Generation Content Manager

Location: Reston, VA Hybrid OR Remote US


What we’re looking for…


We are looking for a content-first demand generation professional to lead content development for integrated campaigns. This person will partner with campaign managers, product marketing, and web teams to deliver the right content to the right audience at the right time.


This role requires excellent writing skills, a deep understanding of the buyer’s journey, and the ability to create high-converting content for multiple personas and funnel stages.


What you’ll be doing…


  • Own content planning for all demand generation campaigns.
  • Produce high-quality content for multiple formats (eBooks, whitepapers, blogs, emails, landing pages, webinars, etc.).
  • Create targeted content for every stage of the funnel (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) to engage and convert prospects.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and SMEs to ensure messaging is aligned to persona needs and product value.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to optimize content for SEO/GEO and paid media.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to develop visual assets for content.
  • Translate technical messaging into digestible, conversion-oriented content.
  • Manage the content calendar and coordinate with freelance writers as needed.
  • Partner with Field and Sales to ensure availability of sales tools and enablement assets.
  • Continuously improve content performance by tracking engagement and asset impact.

Qualities you possess…


  • 5+ years of B2B content marketing or demand generation experience.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating content across different formats.
  • Experience managing content calendars and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Project management skills and experience with tools like Asana.
  • Ability to interpret analytics and transform insights into action.
  • Strong understanding of content’s role in demand generation and the sales funnel.
  • Familiarity with account-based experience (ABX) strategies and tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical SMEs and translate into campaign-ready content.
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, or IT infrastructure preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, landing page writing, and campaign copy.
  • Comfortable working with freelancers and external writers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
