We’re looking for an experienced Demand & Revenue Management Analyst to fill this hybrid role which is based in our Seattle office. The Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for optimizing the commercial performance of assigned Seabourn sailings through strategic pricing, inventory management, and demand forecasting. The role oversees pricing and inventory decisions across independent traveler, group, and contracted business segments, continuously balancing occupancy, yield, and revenue objectives at the cabin-category level. By leveraging multiple business intelligence sources and revenue management systems, the Analyst monitors booking performance, market conditions, and competitive activity to identify opportunities that maximize net ticket revenue while supporting the overall commercial strategy for the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Optimization & Pricing Strategy
    • Lead pricing and inventory strategy for assigned sailings, managing independent traveler, group, and contract pricing at the cabin-category level to maximize net revenue and occupancy.
    • Analyze booking, pricing, and inventory data to identify yield optimization opportunities and evaluate pricing, inventory management & commercial actions.
    • Develop and recommend data-driven pricing and inventory actions, ensuring timely execution and alignment with promotional and commercial objectives.
    • Monitor and manage capacity risk, including oversells, buy-offs, and buy-downs, to protect revenue performance and inventory integrity.
  • Performance Analysis & Commercial Insights
    • Produce regular performance reporting on bookings, revenue, pace, forecasts, risks, and recommended actions for leadership review and trading meetings.
    • Monitor competitive pricing, promotional activity, product positioning, and broader travel industry trends to inform revenue decisions.
    • Translate booking trends, demand signals, and market performance into actionable insights that support commercial strategy and future business planning.
    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting and analytics capabilities by designing, building, and productionalizing scalable tools, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions that support commercial decision-making and team efficiency
  • Strategic Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial leadership to stimulate demand and support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
    • Serve as a Revenue Management representative across the organization, responding to business needs and providing analytical support to stakeholders.
    • Share demand and booking trend insights with Deployment Planning teams to influence future itineraries, deployment strategies, and market investment decisions.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
    • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across revenue management systems through validation, documentation, and reporting support.
    • Support and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pricing, inventory management, reporting, and analytical processes.
    • Ensure revenue management processes and system updates are executed accurately and consistently to support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Revenue Management, Commercial Planning, Sales, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical, communication & organizational skills essential.
  • Ability to analyze data, make decisions and be accountable for bottom-line performance. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of database and report writing tools.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior leadership.
  • 2 years of related revenue management experience preferred 
  • Familiarity with cruise or travel-industry revenue management concepts preferred 
  • Knowledge of the cruise industry business environment, including marketing, sales, and operations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA or Miami, FL. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 4 days/week (Monday -Thursday).

  •  Salary Range: $75,000 -$95,000. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
