We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Delivery Project Manager to join our team. This strategic role is responsible for driving delivery across the overall programme timeline, ensuring milestones and dependencies are effectively managed and tracked. The successful candidate will work closely with Value Streams to identify planning gaps, assess delivery risks, and strengthen the overall programme plan.
This role combines delivery oversight with a deep understanding of programme content and ways of working. It requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managing large-scale transformation projects in financial services.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and manage the end-to-end delivery milestones across the Programme, including build, testing, migration, E2E testing, data visas, change implementation, archiving, and system decommissioning.
- Collaborate with Value Streams and Workstreams to ensure milestone accuracy and alignment with programme goals.
- Monitor and manage key dependencies and proactively identify risks and opportunities to improve delivery timelines.
- Work closely with the Programme Office to align RAID logs and milestones, ensuring a cohesive and transparent delivery narrative.
- Develop and maintain management reporting tools, including real-time dashboards and executive-level presentations.
- Apply project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) to control and guide programme progress.
- Attend regular Value Stream meetings to capture key insights and ensure central tracking of delivery data.
- Analyse planning data to identify trends, issues, and actionable insights.
- Support senior leadership in holding delivery teams accountable for progress and outcomes.
- Promote consistent delivery governance and foster strong project management practices across the programme.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in technology or change initiatives within financial services.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale transformation programmes.
- Experience handling complex dependencies and navigating multi-layered organisational structures.
- Background in divestments, acquisitions, or large-scale system upgrades and data migrations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management tools, especially Clarity and JIRA.
- Strong capability in delivery MI reporting, including dashboard creation and executive-level presentations.
- Expertise in RAID management and milestone tracking at the programme level.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex planning data and generate meaningful insights.
