Your position
As a Layout Engineer, you will become part of our Project Execution's team in our office in Cornellà, Barcelona. The team is responsible for the Spain, South Europe, LATAM and other countries execution of projects of our material handling systems are implemented. Working under the supervision of a Project Leader, the Layout Engineer is part of a multidisciplinary team.
Your core activities

Participate in the system design

Create and complete the 3D design from sketch to customer approval.

Detail the design in order to release mechanical equipment specifications

Managing revision of the 3D models and make the documentation related

Works simultaneously on more than one project

Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to develop and implement effective solutions

Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the required standards

Follow the internal procedures of the company

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
Your profile

Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish

Familiarity and knowledge of Mechanical design tools such as AutoCad, ESoT and Microsoft office applications

An entrepreneurial spirit, anticipating and mitigating project risks, and dealing with issues in a practical environment.

A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary, international teams, and like to share your knowledge with your coworkers.

Willing to travel around 10% internationally.
