As a Coordinator with the Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) team, you’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to advance our DEIB strategy and efforts. You’ll conduct research, track news and best practices and serve as knowledge manager for the team. You’ll assist with event planning and execution, message and materials development and will serve as an instrumental part of the team’s overall operations. In this role, you’ll build a strong foundation in effectively advancing global DEIB programs, partnering with Edelman colleagues at all levels across the global network.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and monitor DEIB news and trends
- Maintain project tracking and management
- Develop communications materials
- Support development and execution of events
- Maintain project tracking and management
- UpdateSharePoint siteand communications channels
- Maintain team documents, resources and archivessite
- Establish and maintain calendar of DEIB observances
- Assist with key events and observances
- Support Employee Network Groups
- Work with the team with ad hoc assignments
Basic Requirements:
- At least two-three years’ work experience in human resources or a related field. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in and understanding of DEIB or the communications marketing industry and basic principles of DEIB.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in DEIB HR or Communications Marketing and/or related fields
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt to various deadlinesand assignments
- Solid knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and the ability to provide quality work to stakeholders and teams
