Your role:

• Market & Protocol Research: You will always be hunting for the next big thing. You will scout dozens of protocols and new primitives monthly and conduct in-depth research of the most promising ones. The goal is to identify attractive opportunities and assess the underlying risks.
• Portfolio & Risk Management: Quantify and assess the technical and economic risks in specific crypto protocols. Collaborate with treasury teams and develop risk mitigation frameworks using cutting-edge technology providers and internal systems. 
• Growth & Engagement: Actively engage with the protocol teams either via direct contract or by participating in DAO governance forums and community platforms (X.com, Discord, Snapshot).
• Strategic Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and research new growth opportunities.

What makes you stand out:

• Strong understanding of the core DeFi protocols primitives.
• Experience in DAO governance and on-chain analysis.
• Experience with yield farming strategies and various token distribution designs.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving market conditions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

How to stand out:

• Strong X (ex Twitter) followership - you can get to existing and upcoming protocol teams easily.
• Create and maintain dashboards on analytics platforms (e.g., Dune Analytics) for internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with programming languages used in blockchain development (Solidity, Rust, Python).
• Hands-on experience in investment management, portfolio optimization, and treasury operations within DeFi.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
