This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). Location: Wichita, KS (On-site only / This is not a Remote role)
Key Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot, research, and resolve SAP issues, including server, interface, and database issues
- Administer and manage different SAP systems
- Tune and setup monitoring SAP systems to meet SLAs
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of production systems, through troubleshooting and implementing known fixes, including writing and follow up of SAP incidents
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure operations of these critical systems
- Work with internal users on SAP tickets in our Basis queue
- Work with team to manage and monitor workload of the SAP landscape
- Develop and maintain SAP application system documentation
- Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience with technical architecture, hardware and software infrastructure, system installations, enhancements, migrations, system copies, and troubleshooting performance issues
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- Must be able to secure Program access approval
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience with technical architecture, hardware and software infrastructure, system installations, enhancements, migrations, system copies, and troubleshooting performance issues
- Linux, Server, and/or Systems Administration experience
- Active DoD Security Clearance
- Experience in SAP BASIS Administration on NetWeaver Systems and related products
- DoD 8570 Security+ Certification
- Knowledge of SAP Security administration configuration and protocols
- Oracle Database experience
- XI/PI/P0 experience
- Experience with SUSE/Redhat
- BASIS experience in ABAP and JAVA systems
- HANA Basis experience
- Experience in ERP Support Pack and Enhancement Pack Upgrades
- SLD Maintenance
- Web dispatcher experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills
- Willingness to support mission critical systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to recognize and resolve critical issues in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
Union:
This is a union-represented position.
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range - Associate Engineer (Level 2): $62,500 - $95,800
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
