This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.
The Integrated Business Team Leader (IBT) will provide business leadership in support of the Program Management Office and Program Manager of a stand-alone program or major business/program element where business needs dictate. Responsible for the day-to-day performance management baseline, including establishing the programs organization and work breakdown structures; and reporting, visibility, and communication of strategic and operational program activities necessary to achieve defined program objectives and business plans.
Position Responsibilities:
- Managing all business requirements that support the program and maintaining the Program Tier 0 and Tier 2 masterplan/schedule
- Organization and work breakdown structures
- Establishing and managing the program cadence
- Reporting program performance and maintaining the program communication plan
- Maintaining the program RIO profile and the program affordability cost model
- Developing and maintaining the Program Management Plan
- Ensuring robust change management controls and forums
- Maintaining the program organization structure, and associated documentation, and the reporting program Earned Value Management status
- Supporting the implementation of program management standards and best practices
- Coordinating the baselines and associated change activity for program finances and resources
- All other duties as assigned.
