We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. About the role
We are looking for an executive-level expert in naval warfare, with experience leading advanced technology programs and developing strategy and requirements to drive growth within our burgeoning defense business. In this role, you will partner closely with the go-to market teams, product leads, and engineering teams to find the right customer engagement opportunities, build or adapt our products, and deliver value to the customers. This is a uniquely strategic and operational role with a mix of both internal and external-facing responsibilities.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Engage with potential customers and stakeholders in the DoD, USN, and Congressional ecosystem who are relevant for maritime business growth
- Closely follow and shape military strategy and trends to guide future product requirements for this domain
- Own strategic executive relationship management through tactical solutioning
- Plan and execute strategy and forecasting for revenue in this vertical
- Serve as an outward-facing thought leader to industry, customers, and the media
- Lead successful customer engagements through careful technical and use case scoping
- Work closely with Gov Affairs, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to develop business
- Inform roadmaps for existing and new products based on customer engagements
We're looking for someone who has:
- 15+ years of experience leading surface Navy advanced technology programs
- Deep programmatic and acquisition knowledge of Navy emerging technology and weapons systems programs and relationships to broader joint force initiatives
- Deep understanding of maritime mission command fundamentals and future-looking concepts
- Experience working with advanced software products from a DoD programs perspective
- The ability to obtain and hold Top Secret/SCI clearance
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
