The Roles: 

 We have opportunities across the Manager & Senior Manager levels for people with Capability definition experience, especially in Navy surface and above water combat systems to join our team on a full-time permanent capacity. Located in Canberra you will be working closely with our team of Capability Realisation specialist to deliver specialist services to our clients in engagements that develop/support Capability for Navy. 


Our Ideal Candidate: 

You are experienced in delivering 'above the line services’ in the Defence Maritime environment within the One Defence Capability System. If you have a deep understanding of Fundamental Inputs to Capability in Defence and the role, they play in Capability Realisation, we would love to have a chat. 

As a Defence consultancy, we also need you to be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance. 

Required skills and attributes include: 

  • Experience providing support services to Defence Capability Project Sponsors 
  • Development and review of Defence Capability artefacts to support progress through gate reviews including Sponsors Papers, Operational Concept Document, Joint Capability Needs Statement, Capability Realisation Plan, Enterprise Workforce Realisation Plan, Concepts of Operations, and Functional Performance Specifications. 
  • Experience in eliciting Capability requirements form multiple stakeholders 

Having these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory): 

  • Experience in Defence Maritime Capability, especially combat systems and training systems 
  • Navy engineering or warfare operations background 
  • Broad professional network in Defence Maritime Capability 
  • Post graduate qualifications in Defence Capability Management
