As a Defect Reduction Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and sustaining integrated defect monitors within Intel's semiconductor processes. These monitors are essential for delivering world-class yields to our customers.
Key Responsibilities

Innovative Problem Solver: Utilize your statistical knowledge and problem-solving tools to develop solutions and strategies that prevent future issues.

Data-Driven Analyst: Employ data extraction, data mining, and analysis skills to identify trends and outliers, reduce process variation, and drive corrective action plans.

Continuous Improvement Champion: Continuously improve baseline defect performance through sustaining and innovation.

Operational Excellence Leader: Drive continuous improvement on process and equipment operational indicators to support future customer demand.

Change Agent: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify innovative solutions, and influence stakeholders to implement change.

Collaborative Partner: Work with Virtual Factory partners to implement changes across all Intel manufacturing sites.

Candidates must have a min of Level 8 as per National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in an approved Science or Engineering discipline. Examples include: Bachelors, Masters or PhD in a discipline such as; Physics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry inorganic, Chemical Eng., Electronic Eng., Electrical Eng., Material Science, Mechanical Eng., Mechatronics, Biomedical Eng. Nanotechnology, Maths, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical/medical and device manufacturing.
