The Onsite Service Account Manager serves as a key liaison for members, customers, and providers by delivering expert guidance on UnitedHealthcare benefits, resolving claims and service inquiries, and supporting wellness initiatives at the worksite.
This position is full time (40 hours per week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours from 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The training will be ongoing mentorship after 4 weeks Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers and / or providers
- Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers
- Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
- Investigate claim and / or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers
- Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities
- Work as a member of the client's Benefits Team

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 4+ years of direct client facing customer service experience and/or account management experience
- Experience with Medical Insurance Terminology
- Knowledge and understanding of claims processing
- Experience with communicating complex problem-solving scenarios with a client and internal stakeholder
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar)
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the Pasco County School District
- Must live within 20 miles of Tampa FL

Preferred Qualifications:
- ISET Claims Systems experience
- UNET Based Programs Experience CES, TOPS
- Experience in Claims Payments, Claims Adjustments, or Enrollments
Soft Skills:
- Ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
- Effective Written and Verbal Communication skills
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $24 - $43 hourly based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
