Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
As an EDGE Lead, you will lead engagements and workstreams end to end, act as the team's subject matter expert in manufacturing and process engineering, coach analysts, and help build our Supply Chain Manufacturing & Quality practice in the region.
What you'll do
- Lead consulting engagements or major workstreams on process design, operational optimization and performance transformation across drug substance and drug product manufacturing: scope the work, structure the problem and own the quality of deliverables
- Diagnose manufacturing and quality performance using operational data (e.g., OEE, yield, cycle time, deviations) and translate insights into prioritized, value-quantified recommendations
- Design and facilitate cross-functional workshops with site leadership, production, quality, engineering and supply chain to identify bottlenecks, align on priorities and define improvement roadmaps
- Advise clients on tech transfer, scale-up, facility design and capacity expansion strategies aligned to business and supply objectives
- Define KPI frameworks and prioritize digital use cases leveraging data from MES, LIMS, QMS, SAP, historians and automation systems
- Shape smart manufacturing and automation strategies, building business cases that link plant performance to supply chain and financial outcomes
- Manage and develop analysts: set direction, review work and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders (site heads, operations and quality leaders) and contribute to proposals, offerings and thought leadership
What you'll bring
- Degree in Chemical, Industrial or Bio/Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related field; MBA or relevant master's is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in process engineering, MSAT, manufacturing operations, operational excellence or technical consulting within pharma, biotech or related regulated process industries, including hands-on time in cGMP sites
- Track record of leading improvement or transformation projects end to end (e.g., capacity, OEE, tech transfer, scale-up, MES/digital deployment) with measurable results
- Experience leading or coaching teams and managing senior stakeholders; consulting experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of quality systems (deviations, CAPAs, change control) and their impact on manufacturing performance
