As a Component Debug Engineer, you will play a key role in diagnosing and resolving silicon failures to ensure product quality and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and resolve silicon engineering design and physical design issues.
- Perform in-depth fault isolation to identify root causes of silicon failures and defect modes.
- Utilize advanced system setups, lab tools, and equipment to support testing and debug processes.
- Collaborate with test engineers, circuit designers, and process engineers to drive efficient failure analysis and resolution.
- Develop new debug technologies, methodologies, and tools to advance capabilities in silicon isolation and analysis.
- Provide recommendations for design, process, and quality improvements based on debug insights.
- Share ownership of failure analysis results, mitigation strategies, and permanent remedies with cross-functional teams.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics) and 12+ years of hands-on experience in silicon debug or failure analysis OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience OR a PhD with 6+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in using lab tools such as probing equipment, failure isolation tools, and automated test systems.
- Experience with silicon debug methodologies and fault isolation techniques.
- Familiarity with circuit design principles and semiconductor fabrication processes.
