About the Role
This is an executive-level opportunity for a proven dealership leader with a strong track record in profitability, operational excellence, customer experience, people leadership, and OEM relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall strategic direction and performance of the dealership.
- Drive profitability across New Vehicles, Used Vehicles, Parts, Service and F&I operations.
- Ensure achievement of OEM sales, aftersales, CSI and market share targets.
- Develop and mentor departmental management teams.
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
- Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with OEM, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with franchise partners and key stakeholders.
- Identify and implement business development and growth opportunities.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' automotive retail experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior dealership leadership role (Dealer Principal, General Manager, Dealer Executive or equivalent).
- Proven track record of delivering dealership profitability and growth.
- Experience managing Sales, Service, Parts and F&I operations.
- Strong financial and commercial management capabilities.
- Experience managing OEM relationships and franchise compliance.
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence.
