Join our energetic and high performing team as a Dealer Relationship Manager in Private Label Captive Finance for Chase Auto. As a Dealer Relationship Manager for Jaguar Land Rover Financial Group, you will have the opportunity to increase the value we bring to Jaguar Land Rover retailers and Jaguar Land Rover North America by going beyond the foundational requirements of the job. You will also have the opportunity to be consultative and responsive in addressing business opportunities and become a trusted business partner.
Job responsibilities
Attain key performance measures and assigned objectives and that include, but are not limited to originations volume, market share, eContracting, upstream sales, customer satisfaction, Captive Plus strategies.
Motivate new and existing retailers to use Jaguar Land Rover Financial Group for indirect retail and leasing financing in a multi-state territory including Texas and Louisiana.
Engage with retailer management personnel (Owner / General Manager / Controllers / Office / New / Used Car Managers and Finance Managers) on each visit.
Conduct meetings with Owners and General Managers (key decision makers) on 90% of their visits per month.
Collaborate with Jaguar Land Rover North America Retail Performance Managers through joint retailer contacts and monthly meetings to align on business priorities and current initiatives.
Support retailers to develop retailer profitability, maximize various available finance programs, and drive customer loyalty.
Serve as subject matter expert on contracts/worksheets; lease training of sales teams, inform retailers of policy, procedures and pricing changes and assist retailers and DMS providers to correct contract errors.
Train and educate retailers on remarketing strategies/programs to help mitigate losses and create brand loyalty.
Manage all customer service issues and end of term questions that stem from the remarketing process of our existing lease portfolio.
Foster a strong relationship and have effective communication with their credit team, especially with the dedicated underwriter with the expectation of them to lead the team in the strategic execution of the territory's objectives.
Resolve/expedite title and lien release issues from retail and lease including lease vehicles sold through the remarketing process.
Liaison between retailers, funding, and credit to make sure retailers experience an elevated level of customer service.
Solve special collections issues by gathering specific information from the retailer records to aide in resolution which might include collecting payoffs on fraud or dealer buyback issues.
Extensive travel in the territory to assigned retailers is required and must be willing to travel up to 75%.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience managing large sales territory with in-depth and meaningful meetings
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain client relationships
- Demonstrated people management skill and ability to influence
- Excellent sales presentation skills to motivate new and existing clients to use our services and products
- Thorough knowledge of indirect finance products (retail/lease)
- PC Skill (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, Video conferencing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Manage expenses within CCB expense guidelines and ability to maximize monthly budget while still maintaining good expense discipline
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Underwriting experience within the auto finance industry
- One-year financial statements analysis experience
