Your Impact
The Deal Desk Analyst at DISCO plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team in both structuring and pricing deals as well as negotiating contracts that together drive revenue growth and profitability. They evaluate deal proposals and conduct financial analysis to provide recommendations to optimize deal terms. They also evaluate and negotiate agreements to ensure compliance and efficiency in the execution of strategic, complex, non-standard transactions.
What You'll Do
- Contract Support: Collaborates with Sales, Finance, and Legal during the contract process by drafting, redlining, and negotiating contract terms. Engages in deal reviews with Sales/Sales leadership to support account-level strategy on pricing and deal structuring for various transaction types.
- Pricing Strategy: Enforces pricing execution and collaborates with Sales leadership on transactional pricing and value positioning. Ensures proper approvals for deal structure, including pricing, discounts, payment terms, etc. Assists Sales with quote creation and proposal drafting while emphasizing value.
- Expertise and Assistance: Serves as a subject matter authority on sales and revenue compliance policies, providing sales executives with alternative contract options. Partners with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Sales Excellence teams to review or address revenue recognition concerns, finance and billing issues, special terms, and pricing for non-standard deals.
Who You Are
- 3+ years experience in Deal Desk in software industry
- Experience in SaaS Industry
- Services Contract experience
- Highly skilled in word, excel and proficient in CRM, CPQ, CLM solutions
