Position Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join our team. This role will work under the supervision of the Head of Deal Desk. A successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Go-To-Market teams by analyzing, validating, and compiling key deal metrics. This role requires a high level of accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must reside in Saskatchewan and be able to work remotely from a home office in SASK.
Key responsibilities for the Deal Desk Analyst:
- Compile deal summaries by gathering data from multiple sources and calculating key deal metrics.
- Respond to inquiries submitted to the Deal Desk inbox by internal partners, providing timely and accurate information.
- Assist the Go-To-Market team with structuring deals in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Ops, Legal, Finance, Product, Customer Account Management, Pricing, and Revenue Accounting teams to navigate complex approval processes.
- Assist with creating and updating tools and models for the Go-To-Market team to use in structuring and evaluating deals.
Qualifications
- Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including the ability to:
- Manage and organize data in worksheets/workbooks
- Follow formatting guidelines
- Perform basic financial and lookup functions
- Create pivot tables, generate basic charts and graphs
- Must reside in Saskatchewan and be able to work remotely from a home office.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to listen, comprehend, explain, and relay complex information effectively through verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data and requirements, and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong social skills: comfortable working as part of a team, possessing the ability to collaborate and the ability to persuade others.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Willing to travel to San Mateo, California up to once a quarter for team meetings.
