Deal Consulting offers strategic, tailored support across all Amex GBT client and prospect segments for our acquisition and retention efforts. We do this by overseeing the bid process, constructing our offer, and developing the strategic messaging and positioning of our value proposition so it speaks to the value Amex GBT delivers to benefit a company’s travel and meetings program.
The Deal Consulting function builds and brings to life ways to enhance the effectiveness of our sales process. We deliver robust, powerful messaging to help drive the business’ aggressive sales and retention goals.
It is a support role to the Deal Consulting team. Handling routine RFI/RFP Questionnaire requests from clients and sourcing standard information from the content library to assist Deal Consulting Managers in responding to RFPs
What You'll Do
Supporting with responses to RFI/RFPs from clients/prospects
Supporting Deal Consulting Managers with first draft presentations
Sourcing standard RFP response material or responses (e.g. certificates, policies, legal/financial data, etc) for Deal Consulting Managers
Providing bid writing/first pass response support to bids where the Deal Consulting team is unable to provide full-time resource
Supporting Deal Consulting Managers with Subject Matter Experts to populate RFP
End-to-end deal process management
Strategic consulting to improve on our message and positioning
A robust content engine and visual library that is relevant and up-to-date
Operational processes to manage workflow and determine level of team support
What We're Looking For
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and graphic design capabilities
Strong listening skills
Ability to work autonomously, while also being able to collaborate with individuals across the company
Experience in proposal management, marketing, Sales or Client Management experience and/or relevant experience in the corporate travel industry is a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Takes the initiative, owns outcomes and is comfortable with taking the lead when required
Excellence in MS Office applications is a key requirement
Language fluency (written and verbal): English.
