About the team and the role:This role sits in the eBay EU Brand team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering our editorial social activations and social native campaigns across categories for the German market.
What you will accomplish:Responsible for the development and implementation of our DE social editorial strategy across categories in partnership with social lead. Ensuring strategy is aligned with overall business goals and more particular marketing and brand objectives and RTBs.
Responsible for developing and crafting all social editorial content across platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) in close collaboration with agency partners, including social editorial influencer activations. Briefing and creating content to support varying levels of category needs and business objectives.
Support on delivering social native campaigns within cross-functional teams (brand/ communications etc.), including activations across big 3 (UK/DE/US).
Coordinating paid media (boosting) strategy across evergreen and strategic campaigns, owning paid boosting of always-on content and supporting social lead / paid media specialist and agencies on strategic campaign planning
Working closely with social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat etc), making eBay the go-to brand partner for testing new ad formats and betas
Community engagement - lead agency partners in building and cultivating online communities around eBay’s various social handles, encouraging engagement and interaction.
Reporting - monitor and analyze performance of campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and campaign performance together with media agency partners.
Collaboration - work closely with cross-functional teams (business units/ media team/ PR/ Onsite etc.) to ensure a cohesive approach.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in social media & influencer marketing for brands and/or agencies with profound expertise in developing social media campaigns as well as social editorial activations.
Previous work with creative or media agencies - confident in briefing, coordinating & managing deliverables.
Strong understanding of social media and relevant KPIs across platforms, keeping on top of emerging trends, tech and ad products, ensuring we are at the forefront of innovation and testing.
Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple workstreams and timelines.
Clear communicator who thrives in cross-functional setups and fast-paced environments.
German language skills at native level, additionally strong proficiency in English.
Ability to attend our Office in Dreilinden for 3 out of 5 work days.
