Description
• The Data Concern Remediation Management (“DCRM”) Monitoring Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and resolution of data concerns within the organization. This position involves active monitoring, risk identification, and support for the data concern lifecycle, contributing to data accuracy and adherence to DCRM policy
• DCRM team is designed to effectively manage data concerns throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely remediation, compliance with Data Concerns, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Actively monitors the status and progress of all open data concerns within Regulatory Operations.
• Ensures that each data concern within the DCRM system includes the required and concise descriptions, and that appropriate evidence is uploaded as the data concern progresses through its lifecycle.
• Identifies potential "Out of SLA" risks and escalates them promptly to the DCRM Manager.
• Assists in the data concern disposition and closure process, ensuring all established criteria are met, as part of the maker/checker process.
• Maintains an internal DCRM tracking system, guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of recorded data concern.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent,
• 2-4 years of experience in data management, data analysis, monitoring, or a similar role, preferably within the financial service industry,
• Knowledge of non-financial regulatory reporting (i.e. securities, swaps),
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail,
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to identify risks and escalate issues effectively,
• Proficiency in using data management and reporting tools,
• Familiarity with data governance principles and data lifecycle management,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
