DC Quality Assurance Associate

We are seeking a Cycle Counter to join our Distribution Center Inventory Control team!

Regularly working are from 6am-2:30pm Monday – Friday; excluding overtime, the Cycle Counter is responsible to count product and materials to ensure the physical inventory align with inventory records.

***This role also requires flexibility to assist with various projects across shifts. Start times may vary!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately count products and materials and record totals using an RF scan gun or other tools and equipment required.
• Conducts cycle counts, and location accuracy and may assist in the reconciliation of inventory.
• Interact with the team to ensure accountability for quality and accuracy measurements.
• Develops and recommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
• Assist the Inbound Receiving and/or Outbound Shipping Team as needed.
• May utilize an order picker and/or other PIT equipment in the execution of counting locations.
• Perform all job duties in a professional and timely manner, which may include special projects, assisting other departments, or training.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 months experience in a Ferguson distribution center environment required; MDC experience preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and convert counts into cases or individual items
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately to balance multiple demands and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A desire and ability to learn new processes, systems, and procedures
• Capable of obtaining PIT equipment operation certification
• In the MDC, you’ll always be on the move! Please note the additional physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift with frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, gripping, etc.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to work on the multi-level mezzanine at heights of 30+ ft.
