The Distribution Operations Coordinator plans, monitors and communicates product flow to operational leadership, partner departments, and associates with the goal of ensuring quality expectations and productivity levels within the Distribution Center. The Coordinator serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for warehouse management and control systems.
Skills Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years hands-on experience with WMS, Beumer and WCS software
- Experience with HighJump WMS
- Waving and tasking experience with a Tier 1 WMS
- Functional subject matter expert for more than one area of WMS-directed processes
- Advanced experience with operational reporting tools including queries, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of proper business communication etiquette and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform duties independently and lead others as a team
- Strong skills in data mining, retrieval, organization, analysis, and presentation of results
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, propose resolutions, and communicate outcomes
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business manuals and instructions
- Ability to safely handle company property, tools, PPE, and equipment; comply with OSHA and MSDS
- Frequent physical activity including bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling freight, and standing for long periods; exposure to extreme temperatures
