Runnings is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Distribution Center Lead to support daily warehouse operations and help keep our supply chain running smoothly. This role is essential to ensuring merchandise moves accurately and efficiently through our Distribution Center and out to our stores.
In this position, you’ll take ownership of receiving, processing, and organizing product—and when the Distribution Center Manager or Supervisors are away, you’ll step in to guide the team and maintain seamless day‑to‑day operations.

What You’ll Do
Warehouse Operations
- Receive merchandise into the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Scan products into inventory using handheld scanning equipment.
- Print price tags and price merchandise according to company standards.
- Break down incoming merchandise into appropriate quantities for shipment to retail locations.
- Allocate product accurately and verify quantities against packing slips, making corrections where needed.
- Build pallets correctly and shrink wrap merchandise when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Leadership & Oversight
- Provide guidance and support to team members during daily warehouse operations.
- Oversee workflow, prioritize tasks, and assist in problem‑solving when the DC Manager/Supervisors are absent.
- Help ensure team members follow safety procedures, proper work habits, and all company guidelines.
- Participate in and support audit processes and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Safety & Maintenance
- Promote safe work practices and hold team members accountable for maintaining a safe environment.
- Assist with general building and equipment maintenance as needed.

- Experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics environments preferred.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and inventory systems a plus.
- Dependability, teamwork, and a positive attitude are a must.
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00 depending on experience.
