Commit Data seeking a SQL Server DBA to join our team.
As a DBA, you will join us in supporting the technical design, maintenance, and support of the database.
You will work closely with internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
Responsibilities (what you will do):
Assist in the design, maintenance, and support of internal processes.
Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL Server databases and associated applications.
Optimize and fine-tune SQL queries and stored procedures for performance improvement.
Participate in problem-solving activities and provide technical support to team members and customers. Implement, maintain and optimize reports.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience managing and working with SQL Server.
Experience with SQL Server Always On configurations and high-availability solutions.
Familiarity with MSSQL Server database administration and maintenance tasks.
Education in Computer Science or Software Engineering (B.A., B.Sc. or similar)
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
Familiarity with AWS services – an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Experience with MongoDB (or other No-SQL DB) - an advantage
Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong teamwork, innovation, and creative problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English (Both spoken and written)
