Job Description- Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution;
- Maintain optimal level of customer satisfaction;
- Identify all customer issues and recommend appropriate resolution;
- Providing 2nd-level support by: researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying solutions, carrying out configurations, performing upgrades, carrying out migrations;
- Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams;
- Write and maintain documentation.
- Solid and extensive knowledge of IT data center infrastructure in general and navigate medium to large IT environments;
- Experience with being responsible for the implementation of new databases and the operational management of existing databases;
- Customer focused regarding the operations of the databases with focus on reliability and performance;
- Able do handle the following tasks:
- Preparation of operational procedures for backup and recovery, tuning, integrity, reliability and administration of database users;
- Provide support to the application people and assets in setting up the internal structure of the database;
- Establish and follow up robust database standards.
- Know how to work on Databases in the Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform;
- Fluent in (technical) English (spoken & written)
Skills Required
- Solid and extensive knowledge of IT data center infrastructure
- Experience implementing new databases and operational management of existing databases
- Customer-focused operations of databases with emphasis on reliability and performance
- Prepare operational procedures for backup and recovery, tuning, integrity, reliability, and administration of database users
- Provide support to application teams for internal database structure and configuration
- Establish and follow robust database standards
- Experience working with databases on Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
- Provide 2nd-level support: research, diagnose, troubleshoot, identify solutions, perform upgrades and migrations
- Write and maintain technical documentation; fluent technical English (spoken and written)
