Descrição do empregoWe are looking for a DBA to assist a client with database optimization and stability, with a focus on the Ticket and FIT applications.
These databases experience high spikes in usage, especially at the end of the month, which can cause slowdowns or outages with a significant impact on the business. The goal is to ensure performance, availability, and operational continuity.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Respond to peak load scenarios and critical incidents
- Prevent failures and minimize business impact
- Monitor and optimize database performance
- Address incidents of slow performance or outages, especially during peak times
- Analyze and improve queries and indexes
- Ensure backups, restores, and service continuity
- Support application teams in maintaining solution stability
- Experience as an SQL DBA in production environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server (performance, indexes, and queries)
- Experience monitoring and resolving performance issues
- Knowledge of database backup, restore, and maintenance
- Experience in high-availability environments or with critical systems (preferred)
