About the Role
We are looking for a problem-solving expert to handle impactful complex tasks. This role involves leading advanced projects, developing high-level solutions, and guiding a team. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into system artifacts and overseeing the acceptance testing process. Collaboration with colleagues globally, both in-person and virtually, is a key aspect of this position.
Responsibilities
Solving complex problems and tasks and having a solutions-oriented mindset.
Understanding the needs of the client and translating requirements into system specifications. Also, ensuring all requirements are met when completed.
Creating detailed test plans for all phases of testing and programming complex provisions.
Reviewing and approving others’ programming of provisions and testing results.
Managing a client team through developing talent and delegating work.
Identifying plans and manages process improvement projects to create year-to-year efficiencies.
Delivering acceptance testing that meets the highest expectations of client.
Requirements
Have problem solving and advanced analytical skills to overcome obstacles and finish projects without detailed procedures.
Possess Canadian pension knowledge and experience working with plan provisions.
Have proficiency in excel and/or pension system and relevant tools along with Defined Benefits knowledge.
Have the ability to develop and coach others.
Possess management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to change.
Have effective communication internally and externally using technical and common language.
Have experience leading own team with advanced project management skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, finance, MIS, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of relevant work experience

Salary Pay Range
Minimum :
48,400 CADMaximum :
76,900 CADPay Transparency Statement: Alight considers a variety of factors in determining whether to extend an offer of employment and in setting the appropriate compensation level, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography.
