Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data or Cloud engineer focused on Data Platform implementations.
- Experience with Java and Groovy
- Hands-on experience working with GCP cloud services & maintaining GCP infrastructure.
- Proficient in SQL & scripting languages.
- Experience working with version control, continuous deployment and monitoring tools, such as Git, Jenkins, and DataDog.
- Familiarity with both batch and streaming data operations on a large scale.
- Experience in support and troubleshooting software applications.
- Experience with containers and container-based deployment, preferably Kubernetes
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Data platform and related components and manage & maintain them to timely process the data.
- Develop new data integrations needed on legacy platform
- Enhance customer analytics on the Legacy GCP platform
- Monitor data pipeline performance, health, and latency across environments and quickly acknowledge and resolve data-related Production issues on time.
- Create and keep up-to-date documentation of overall data infrastructure, services & components.
- Identify & Improve the current Data pipeline to reduce overall COGs.
- Improve overall observability by orchestrating end-to-end monitoring & alerting.
