Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a strong IT Infrastructure Technical Project Manager (TPM) with extensive experience in Datacentre Operations, Infrastructure Transformation, and Technology Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical infrastructure expertise and project/program management capabilities, with hands-on exposure to managing enterprise data centers, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, cloud transformation, and operational governance.

The TPM will be responsible for leading large-scale infrastructure initiatives involving servers, storage, virtualization, networks, data centers, cloud platforms, backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and IT operations, while driving stakeholder alignment, vendor coordination, risk management, and successful project delivery.

  • 10–18 Years of overall IT Infrastructure experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years as Technical Project Manager / Infrastructure Project Manager.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure and data center projects.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure operations and transformation programs.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and vendors.
  • Banking, Financial Services, or highly regulated industry experience preferred.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Drive infrastructure project execution and governance.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with technical leads, architects, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly governance meetings and executive status reviews.
  • Oversee data center operations and infrastructure delivery activities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and operational readiness activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, runbooks, and transition plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 Certification preferred.
  • ITIL Certification preferred.
  • Azure/AWS/VMware certifications are an added advantage.
