The Role

NVIDIA is looking for a motivated Datacenter Operations Engineer for our IPP (infrastructure, planning, and process) Datacenters! In this role, you will be faced with the challenge of leading company wide lab consolidation as well analyzing new lab requests in NVIDIA to onboard into our Private Cloud. Come up with a schedule and execution plan and drive execution through various PICs. This will also include planning for highest efficiency within our DC environment influencing bin packing with data collated and making sure deployments happen within defined SLAs.

What you will be doing:

  • Engage Stakeholders and Lab Owners to review Cloud Compatibility and understand their requirements.

  • Document operational use cases, inventory lab assets for planning.

  • Drive planning and execution of onboarding confirmed labs into the cloud service, through physical site visits and customer communications.

  • Review capacity needed for assessed lab onboarding and foster this into DC planning exercise.

  • Track progress with trackers, establish metrics for success criteria in executive summaries.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Tech related Major or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience working in DC or a Lab environment.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in project management.

  • Proficiency in crafting roadmaps for resource management

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills

Ways to stand out of the crowd:

  • Visio and CAD experience for Lab R&D projects and Rack Management.

  • Lab/Datacenter Procurement Experience.

  • Experience with handling PDUs and Power in Labs.

  • Experience with GPUs and NVIDIA related Hardware.

  • Working knowledge of basic SQL queries (for DCIM reporting)

The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 333,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
