Job Description:
- Model and design the application data structure storage and integration components.
- Lead the analysis design and build effort for all data storage and processing components being custom built or reused.
- Work with the integration architects and specialists to design the integration solution.
- Ensure that the data storage and processing designs fulfill the requirements including data volume frequency needs and long-term data growth.
- Work with the technology architects and application designers to understand the data conversion requirements fully and to design the conversion procedures and applications.
- Review the database deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and traceability to requirements and adherence to all quality management plans and standards.
- Ensure that the developers and data architecture specialist responsible for developing the database thoroughly understand the requirements and designs.
- Work with the Deployment and Support Team to define solution handover requirements.
- Assess readiness for solution acceptance.
- Accept solution transition.
- Operate support and maintain the solution per the Service Level Agreement.
