Job Description

Responsibilities: 

You will be responsible for data integration/data mashing from multiple systems/warehouses to the centralized Heroku Postgres database. Additionally you will conduct development of new Postgres queries/functions/procedures in order to expose data to Salesforce Cloud Platform. 

Finally you will be accountable for new data structures creation for current/new data sets coming to Centralized Postgres Database.

Skill Set Requirements:

MUST HAVE

• very good working knowledge of SQL and ability to write database procedures/functions in database Procedural Language (for example PL/pgSQL, PL/SQL or T-SQL),
• experience in optimization of complex database queries/procedures, (knowledge about postgres DB tuning and Postgres DB performance optimization would be an asset),
• experience in data integrations across multiple systems/platforms with usage of ETL/ELT tolls ( like Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, Xplenty, Talend, Pentaho, etc.)

NICE TO HAVE

• Good Knowledge of json 
• Experience in working in SOA (Service oriented architecture) environment
• Experience with Oracle (PL/SQL mainly) 
• Bash scripting in Unix\Linux
• Python knowledge

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with SQL/relational databases
• Experience working with DBMS and ETL tools
• Familiarity with Agile approaches to development a plus
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
