Database Marketing Campaign Manager
A brilliant opportunity for a data-driven, customer-focused individual to build and deliver targeted marketing activity, managing the end to end data process from database selections and data extraction, to campaign evaluation which you will create based on reporting and analysis. This is used to identify customer insight, to support our marketing and strategy function and the business units.
You’ll deliver improved direct response campaign results from Bupa UK’s database marketing systems and build successful working relationships with internal stakeholders and external data suppliers.
What you’ll do
- Deliver effective new sales and marketing campaigns
- Work with the Senior Campaign Analyst and relevant stakeholders to shape the contact strategy, developing customer centric campaigns.
- Improve ROI of campaigns using available targeting and segmentation tools to best effect
- Deliver data requests for research and service purposes.
- Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness, making sure results are communicated openly and honestly.
- Manage the day to day operational “suppression” criteria to ensure that all customer communications produced by the team are compliant with data protection legislation, customer preferences, MPS and TPS, and internal suppression criteria.
- Own the direct response campaign activity for specific stakeholder areas.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Implement best practice Campaign Management processes in Database Marketing:
- Ensure that all data provided is fit for purpose, accurate and that all communications comply with regulatory requirements, and internal and industry standard practices in terms of permissions, frequency and number of communications.
- Ensure all campaign documentation is completed and deliver 100% compliance in the monthly audits.
- Proactively identify enhancements to Bupa UK’s database, data and models
- Identify data quality issues, liaise with owners across the business to address these, and monitor delivery of improvements.
- Identify need for new propensity models or new data items and sources.
You
- Proven and significant commercial experience of delivering marketing campaigns in a data environment.
- Experience with Adobe Campaign, or similar campaign management system
- Understanding of databases, with direct experience of query tools, SQL, SAS within a marketing context
- Comfortable presenting all types of information, complex data and strategic recommendations to wide ranging audiences at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill and a keen eye for detail
- Credible, influential communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and customer focus
- A collaborative team worker, able to show initiative when working as an individual
