Job Title: Database Developer

Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Monex USA is looking for a bright, skilled, and highly motivated Agile full stack developer to support our internal application development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile Development Process. You will collaborate closely with different teams to efficiently develop software solutions to increase business effectiveness. You will coordinate with other Monex companies as you collectively build global solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Monex through innovative development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing database schemas, tables, views, functions and procedures
- Performance Troubleshooting on complex SQL queries, analyze Query Plan
- Working with SSIS ETL processes and other data integration tools
- Great Design and development on SSRS Report
- Implementing SQL Jobs
Requirements
- Three (3) years of database development experience.
- Three (3) experience of MS Excel skills (vlookup, Macro/VB, Power Query, PowerPivot)
- Knowledge of Azure power platform (PowerBI, Power App, PowerAutomation)
- Familiar with Windows PowerShell
- Working knowledge of git.
- Experience with Agile SDLC and Agile fundamentals.
- Experience with DevOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external parties.
- Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada currently residing in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in information technology, computer science or engineering, or similar field preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience, training and education.
- Knowledge of Fenics / Kace is a plus
- Knowledge of Foreign Currency Exchange concepts or experience in the payment industry.
- Experience with Jira or similar Issue and Project Tracking Software.
