CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Database Developer to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
This role is responsible for database development and administration, ensuring our databases are secure, reliable, and efficient. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our databases and ensuring that they meet the Firm's standards.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Database Developer role:
• Develop, design, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, including designing and implementing schemas, tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, including the ability to write complex stored procedures and functions.
• Manage database security and access control, including developing and implementing security policies and procedures, performing database backups, and implementing disaster recovery plans.
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues and performance problems, including analyzing database performance metrics, diagnosing problems, and tuning databases to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure that databases meet their needs and requirements.
• Work with database vendors to stay up-to-date with new technologies, features, and trends.
What you will need:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL Server development on the Azure Cloud platform.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
