We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer / SQL Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, data analysis, ETL processes, and database management, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, modify, and manage large and complex datasets efficiently.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities across multiple systems.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for reporting and data processing.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across databases.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Implement best practices for data pipeline optimization and performance tuning.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data modification techniques.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS databases such as:
- SQL Server
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- 5-7 years of total experience.
- Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Apache Spark.
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of data pipeline optimization, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database and data-processing issues efficiently.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- AWS Associate-level Certification is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and big data technologies is an advantage
