The Opportunity:
FASTCONDUIT provides world-wide, enterprise-scaled corporate data transport and messaging services that are highly available, reliable, and fault tolerant. We are a division level (Y421) contract providing support for the following mission-critical organizations, Y4211/ Enterprise Transport and Routing (ETR), Y4212/ Application Messaging Framework (AMF), and Y4213/ Information Transport Services (ITS).  Y421 transports critical data to protect U.S. national security interests, the Warfighter, and civilians. Ultimately, U.S. and Allied Forces lives depend on Y421 services, and the FASTCONDUIT contract is a critical contributor to successfully executing this mission.
Responsibilities:
FASTCONDUIT Mission
(U) Simply put, our mission is to get data to those who need it 24x7x365.  
(U//FOUO) FASTCONDUIT provides world-wide, enterprise-scaled corporate data transport and messaging services that are highly available, reliable, and fault tolerant. We are a division level (Y421) contract providing support for the following mission-critical organizations, Y4211/ Enterprise Transport and Routing (ETR), Y4212/ Application Messaging Framework (AMF), and Y4213/ Information Transport Services (ITS).  Y421 transports critical data to protect U.S. national security interests, the Warfighter, and civilians. Responsibilities
           
5 years Database administration experience
            Working knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology
            Experience with Linux (CentOS and RHEL)
            Working knowledge of Postgres, Oracle, SQL
            Experience with managing user accounts, backup/restore, performance monitoring and health and status monitoring Oracle/Postgres databases
            Experience providing focused expertise to mission application users
            Experience interacting effectively, courteously, and directly with users to independently triage technical issues and prioritize tasks
            Demonstrate logic-based problem-solving and organizational skills
            Experience reading, writing and implementing standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
            Able to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to management
            Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task, work independently, with minimum supervision to meet deadlines, and supervise other System Administrators

Qualifications:
            TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
            Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
            5 years Database Administration experience.  An additional 4+ years of Database Administration experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 14 years.
            1 year experience in Oracle database system
This position has been designated as CWIP IAT Level 1 and requires one of the following baseline certifications to qualify:
            A+ CE, CCNA-Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH

Desired:
            Knowledge of Messaging services i.e. ActiveMQ
            Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing bash and Perl scripts
            Understanding of centralized authorization services

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
