H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Database Administrator to support a Navy contract out of China Lake, CA.
The Database Administrator responsibilities will include:
· Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
· Coordinate changes to computer databases.
· Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.
· May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
· Support cloud technology, including analyzing the existing environment for suitability and scalability; participating in the acquisition of design tools; and managing cloud architecture, and migration and optimization activities.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- 3-10 years of experience providing database administration support for the sustainment, modernization, and cyber compliance of Oracle and Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) database environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (4 years of additional experience may be substituted or AS degree and 2 years of additional experience).
- CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
- Expert knowledge of the Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server capabilities.
