Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Candidate would be expected to be “On call” to support system operations.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years)
- Must have Ten (10) years' experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
- Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
- Evaluates and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
- Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
- Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.

Skills Required

- Ten years' experience as a DBA on similar programs/contracts
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline OR four additional years of relevant experience as substitution
- Experience administering Oracle databases

- Experience administering SYBASE databases
- On-call availability to support system operations
- Disaster recovery planning and execution
- Performance analysis and tuning, including index maintenance and query optimization
- Database security, integrity, availability practices and policy development/implementation
- Ability to evaluate and recommend DBMS products and perform database/software lifecycle activities
