Job Description The Technical Implementation Analyst I within CIB Technology consults with our clients and enables them for Credit Card transaction processing with Chase technologies. The Analyst I manages the certification process which may include basic consulting and technical discussions. The Analyst I performs the certification for the client and is the primary point of contact for implementation related issues. This role is focused on mid-scale client implementations. The Analyst I has strong knowledge of the credit card processing industry and products. The role may also be engaged in other special projects related to processes or tools used during the implementation process.
Responsibilities include:

  • Acts as the primary technical resource on client implementation / certification cases for mid-sized merchants and integrators.
  • Advises clients of Chase on card Industry supported connectivity options, protocols, formats, and product functionality related to product offerings to assigned customers (internal and external).
  • Completes certification requirements to ensure software integration meets all product and service standards for feature set, connectivity, industry, and regulation standards.
  • Thoroughly analyzes data transmitted to the certification host, or self-testing tool and communicates results to clients.
  • Manages the interactive process of results/fixes with the client in a timely and professional. This may include technical conference calls with clients, integrators, resellers, hardware vendors, card brands, and other internal Chase teams depending on the circumstances.
  • Key point of contact for successful conversions of products and services from a technical perspective for new and existing clients from their current processing environment to Chase platforms.
  • Mentors analysts and collaborates with new and existing employees working with clients on the certification processes.
  • Partners with the lead consultant and/or subject matter expert on client conference calls requiring advanced technical consultation

Qualifications:

  • Requires 3 years of work experience in a technical role within the credit card payment processing industry.
  • Requires 3 years of experience in a technical role, including but not limited to networking, technical support, quality assurance, sales engineering, or an analyst position.
  • Minimum 1 years Connectivity knowledge (i.e. MPLS, VPN, and Internet).
  • Minimum 1 years Protocol knowledge (i.e. TCP/IP, S-FTP, HTTPS).
  • Minimum 2 years knowledge using technical specifications - in depth understanding of how to read and interpret technical product specifications (transaction and file based specification experience required)
  • Minimum 2 years diagnosing complex issues in applications, data messages, network connectivity.
  • Experience in the Point of Sale (POS) industry; Proprietary Chase Stratus and Tandem operating systems/applications are strong plus.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and polished communication skills to effectively deal with clients and escalations
