Job Description As a member of our Business Analysis team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • A strong understanding of at least one business function in the firm, as well as a broader understanding of other areas
  • Proficiency in business applications, data usage, and management
  • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in Powerpoint
  • Interest and Familiarity with Tableau; Advanced proficiency a plus


Desired skills and traits that would lend themselves to this role include:

  • Passion for Data: Curious to explore disparate, diverse external market data and develop data-driven products to support strategic decisioning and provide transparency into the market and competitor dynamics impacting JPMC
  • Data-Driven Delivery: Generate internal workforce and external market data insights to strengthen stakeholders' data fluency and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to build and contribute to successful planning and execution large-scale projects with high degree of independent time management
  • Collaborative: Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative, development-centric culture
  • Analytical: Strong critical thinking and pro-active problem solving skills to bring structure to a problem and potential solutioning
  • Articulate: Clearly and concisely compose messaging and products for socialization to senior leaders and diverse stakeholders groups across the JPMC
  • Continuous learner: Passionate to continually build new analytical and software skills in a results-driven business context
  • Enthusiasm and passion for talent intelligence; keeping a pulse on the external market and key competitors to JPMC and providing data-rich insights to key stakeholders

About the Team The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
