PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a motivated system administrator to support a mission focused organization and team of software engineers and analysts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration support activities such as account, file/storage and virtual machine management, audit log checks, vulnerability scanning, and accounting maintenance of all of the above. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various computer equipment. Perform security best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
The candidate must have:
• Eight (8) to eighteen (18) years of general experience as a systems analyst. • A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience as a systems analyst• Five (5 years of experience in systems analysis, engineering design, and communications applications on complex information systems, database management, the use of programming languages that support Sun Solaris, HP UNIX, Windows NET, Pascal or Delphi, Linux - RedHat, Windows XP, Databases, Sybase RDBMS, Oracle RDBMS, MS Access, Oracle Context, Oracle Forms, Powerbuilder, MS SQL Server, Indexed Sequential Access Method (ISAM), and knowledge of storage and retrieval methods.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have strong Linux experience• Hands on STIG implementation skills are a must • Inventory/ Material Distribution and Tracking (MDAT) experience • Ansible remote administration hands-on experience • Virtualization hands-on experience (libvirt/proxmox/virtualbox)• Actual hands-on desktop and server room installation support experience• Understand security best practices• Attention to detail
