Overview
Responsible for performing quality control audits, ensuring that in-line QA's (quality assurance) are completed accurately and timely and all the requirements are met prior to finalizing the process. Post Mortem QC (quality control) reviews are done to verify errors made during the process are remediated.
Job Description

  • Responsible for performing quality control audits on non-default related process
  • Report discovered findings or gaps to the team leader for immediate corrective action
  • Responsible for reviewing verbal complaints and providing insight into trends or systems failures
  • Recommend corrective action to front line management for resolving loan level issues
  • Provides feedback to frontline agents and management for individual performance improvement
  • Conduct Post Mortem QC reviews to verify that errors made during the process are remediated
  • Perform audit activities including, but not limited to, review of data and documentation for accuracy and consistency, systems analysis, regulatory compliance assessment and investor program requirements, as applicable
  • Meet with management to review findings and remediation related to operational audits
  • Ensure daily work is logged correctly for tracking purposes.
  • May assist with identifying gaps in policy and procedures
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Knowledge mortgage servicing investor, federal and state requirements
  • Excellent working knowledge with the following software programs: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong customer service background
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to function independently and prioritize workload
  • Team oriented and flexible
