Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Responsible for KNX's vulnerability management program focusing on leading vulnerability discovery, remediation tracking, reporting and triage processes.
- Develop and execute a strategy for vulnerability management and risk reduction that aligns KNX policies and industry best practices.
- Conduct on-going vulnerability scans, and assessments.
- Oversee and support the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program, processes, and technology integrations.
- Develop, present, and drive improvement of key performance and risk metrics.
- Produce detailed reports for key stakeholders, with documentation of the risks identified and clear recommendations for remediation actions for found vulnerabilities.
- Support technical assessments of third-party vendors, and vulnerability assessment of affiliates through M&A or post-acquisition activity.
- Drive consistency, documentation, and continuous improvement of processes.
- Lead projects and provide guidance/training to less experienced staff.
- Identify new vulnerabilities and exploits and provide periodic vulnerability reports and summaries.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 6+ years experience in Information Technology required.
- 3+ years experience in Information security required.
- Previous experience creating and maintaining key performance indicators/metrics required.
- Previous experience with Tenable.io, Tenable.SC, or other enterprise vulnerability management platforms required.
- Previous experience administering Linux and/or workstations preferred.
- Bachelors in IT or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience required.
- Professional certifications such as CySA+, CISSP, etc., required.
- Must be knowledgeable of vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS/CMSS).
- Must be well-organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks.
- Must possess superior problem-solving skills and be action-oriented and decisive.
