Senior SAP IT Business Analyst (Remote)

The Sr IT Business Analyst will join our IT team supporting our Laboratory Plastics Essentials Group. This role will be to working with business process analysis, requirements analysis, system evaluation and writing system artifacts to support validation and implementation.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small updates, mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that impact the group at global level. The role is a part of a fast-paced IT group within a growing business unit.
- Stay current with business needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists etc.) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (senior management, business SME, technical staff)
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in the area and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance in the application and best practices
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources (like shared services and contractors); driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
- Assess business process and system inefficiencies and identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
- Translate technical information into clear, concise documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
- Support project managers in M&A activities and deployment of systems at newly acquired sites
Requirements:
- HS Degree required, but Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, engineering, or related field preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience documenting system documentation, requirements, and release notes
- Experience documenting status reports, creating system metrics, policies and trainings as needed.
- Experience using SAP is required. Preferable in the SD, MM, WM, & PP Modules.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Experience working in Health IT or regulated environment is highly desired
- Solid project management and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- No more than 25% travel during a year.
