About the job
The Red Hat Global Sales and Services Finance team is looking for a Senior Sales Incentive Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC or remotely. In this role, you will assist in the overall sales compensation planning, strategy, and communication for a key segment of the Sales team. You'll use a combination of analytics, project management, and operational excellence to work with leaders across the organization to ensure incentive plans are resulting in desired overall sales performance. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Create and optimize incentive plans for each sales role in your world region while promoting global consistency
  • Assist during the annual quota planning process and apply analytics to ensure optimal coverage models are being used
  • Maintain accurate details of account alignment, credit mapping, and coverage models
  • Manage communications of incentive plans and policies
  • Ensure policy compliance through communications and analytics support
  • Deliver trainings that ensure overall incentive program effectiveness
  • Provide insightful and useful incentive analytics across all management levels that deliver continuous improvement in incentive plan effectiveness
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop an overall incentives strategy for your world region


What you will bring

  • 1+ years of experience working in sales operations, analytics, or sales incentive
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Bachelor's degree; master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Good focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning
  • Experience with business analysis including issue tracking, problem resolution, and reporting
