Senior Data Analyst will take data from commercial payers and map it to a standard format. This mapping becomes specifications used by developers to create data intake processes and documentation used by business partners to perform analytics. The DA is immersed in the commercial payer data intake implementation and remains involved by doing any additional mapping and QA needed as the payer moves to steady state. The DA is a member of an Agile Scrum Team supporting our internal business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data mapping new client implementations
  • Gather/validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team
  • Discuss issues and questions related to claims data analysis, issue documentation; work with business stakeholders to review and resolve these issues
  • Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of databases and healthcare data
  • Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Work as part of an Agile team
  • Map data from one format to another

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required in-depth knowledge of claims and claims processing
  • 1 year of experience working on an Agile team


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Spark SQL and DB Visualizer
  • EDI experience

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900.
