Position Summary:

The Regional OT and Automation Manager will work closely with the automation engineer and facility management in order to leverage technology used to improve, streamline and automate a manufacturing process. This position is responsible for planning, implementation, and monitoring such technology with a regional scope.

Core Functions:

• Management of activities related to OT in the region (assessment, mapping gaps, implementation and status, timeline, risk, etc.).
• Management of the execution of the necessary actions with the operating units.
• Map, develop and follow the performance of local and regional vendors and integrators to support implementation process.
• Define the infrastructure and architecture of networks together with other areas of the company, aiming at the isolation between IT and OT networks.
• Integration and data communication between the most diverse layers of the network, following applicable cybersecurity protocols.
• Explore and implement new ways to automate systems.
• Design and test automation equipment and processes.
• Program new automated components.
• Identify quality issues, gaps and writing reports.
• Eliminate defects and errors with product and software development.
• Support in defining wireless OT network and communication protocols needed to ensure connectivity.
• Interaction with process historians, enabling communications and data for deeper analysis.
• Interaction with different communication protocols (Profibus, OPC UA and DA, Profinet, etc.).
• Support in monitoring projects involving ICS and Industry 4.0 update.
• Work together with industrial and IT teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Interface with several corporate areas and preparation of technical documents, presentations, and reports.
• Connect and collaborate with teams from other regions of the world to share best practices and global standards definitions.

Skill/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related field.
• 10-14 years of experience within project management
• Experience with robotics, AI and machine learning
• Knowledge Tools: Microsoft Office package, Excel Advanced, Tableau, Power BI.
• Organized, ability to prioritize based on demands
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Spanish language skills preferred

• Availability for frequent travels.
